DNA

DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid .DNA is a molecule in which the genetic code of any human being and almost all animals is present DNA is also present in animals, plants, protists, archaea and bacteria. DNA is in every cell of every organism and this determines what proteins the cells will make. Enzymes are produced in maximum quantity in proteins made by the cell This is the reason why many symptoms of parents occur in children, such as skin color, hair style and eye color. The DNA of any human being is made from a mixture of the DNA of its parents. 

DNA is a long chain molecule that contains our unique Genetic code. Like a recipe book, it holds instructions to make all the proteins in our body. DNA consists of four basic building blocks or bases. 

1. adenine 

2. cytosine

3. guanine 

4. thymine 

The order or sequence of these bases forms the genome. 

DNA was discovered in 1950 AD by American biologist James Watson flames Watson) and English physicist ( Francis Crick). It was first discovered in 1869 AD by a German biochemist Frederick Miescher. .

the full form of RNA is ribonucleic acid. It is made up of single polyribonucleotide chain. It contains Ribonucleoside and Ribonucleotide. There are four types of ribonucleotides - 

Adenylic Acid Adenylic Acid (AMP) 

Guanylic Acid Guanylic Acid (GMP)

 Cytidylic Acid Cytidylic Acid (CMP)

 Uridylic Acid (UMP)
